Job description
Are you an experience construction manager with adequate exerience in the field? If yes, then this contract role might be a good fit for you.

Role Profile
General Description
• The Construction Manager Level 2 leads the construction of one or more large projects with high complexity and diverse scope in support of completing projects safely, with quality, within budget, and on time.

ROLE 1:
The Construction Officer will oversee construction opportunities and alleviate the workload of our current CO, enabling greater focus on planned work during trouble response. Additionally, this role will assist the OMA team with switch inspections aligned to switch replacements, which is currently out of scope.

ROLE 2:
Program and Contract Management (PCM) is seeking an individual to join the team Managing T&D Maintenance Programs.

Responsibilities
Experience and Role Accountabilities
ROLE 1:

Oversee and coordinate construction activities to ensure compliance with standards and timelines.
Support planned work during trouble response to reduce delays and improve reliability.
Assist OMA team with switch inspections and align tasks with switch replacement schedules.
Ensure safety compliance and effective stakeholder communication throughout projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong knowledge of construction oversight and project coordination.
Experience in utility operations and outage management.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Commitment to safety and environmental compliance.

ROLE 2:

Transmission Portfolio

T&D Fire Risk Mitigation Contracts
- In-Field and Desktop QA of External vendors to ensure adherence to standards and quality data entry.
o In fire season emergency contract (Retardant & Grubbing)
o Off-fire season planned contract (Fire Mesh)

Management of Inspection Programs Contracted to External Resources
- Advance site visits, scope vetting (Corrosion/Switch Inspections) for access/vegetation.
- Review inspections in Transmission Lines Data Server (TLDS) application as they are returned.
- Periodic in-field audits to ensure adherence to standards and quality data entry.
- Bi-weekly safety calls with contractors to discuss safety and operational issues.
- Entry of any IMS incidents
- Entry of Safe Work Observations (SWO)
- Review of invoices prior to submitting to P3 WPM for approval

Decommissioning Programs
- Advance site inspections and scope verification, site visits and work oversight during construction, completed work verification.
Condition-Based Repairs
- Advance site visits, scope vetting, gather stakeholder requirements (IP, PCM, LFO)
- If required, development of work packages for Internal Work Program Manager (WPM) to contract out.
- Coordinate internal and external resources as required to mobilize to site.
- Review of completed work order packages for quality, system updates, invoicing approval by WPM.
Exp coordinating, supporting & supervising PLT work

Qualifications
The successful applicant will:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, relevant trades certification, or appropriate length of experience in managing power system field work.
- Have a strong program, project, or construction management background.
- Have experience developing new programs, field auditing vendors, and reporting.
- Be willing and able to travel and complete field-based assignments as required, potentially over longer timeframes.
o May require helicopter travel (previous experience may be an asset, may be required to obtain training at company's cost).
o May require travel by boat (water taxi, barge, other similar methods)
o Safe and incident free driving record.
- Be able to work in outdoor, rugged, and potentially difficult to navigate locations. May require walking and hiking to some locations. May be required to work alone, following required safety procedures.
- Have experience overseeing worksite safety and work crews.
