Compensation: $80,000 - $95,000 + Benefits

Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and mechanically inclined Millwright to join our maintenance team. This is a hands-on role responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving a variety of manufacturing equipment and production machinery.
The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment, and a proactive approach to preventative maintenance and equipment reliability. A 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) License is ideal.
Key Responsibilities Equipment Maintenance & Repair

Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility machinery.

Troubleshoot mechanical issues and identify root causes of equipment failures.

Repair, replace, and adjust mechanical components including bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, motors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.

Respond to equipment breakdowns and support timely resolution to minimize production downtime.

Install, align, level, and commission new machinery and equipment.

Perform equipment inspections and identify opportunities to improve reliability and performance.

Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.

Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.
Preventative Maintenance

Execute scheduled preventative maintenance tasks and inspections.

Assist in developing and improving preventative maintenance procedures.

Identify worn or damaged components before failures occur.

Support equipment reliability initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
Safety & Continuous Improvement

Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Participate in 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Assist with equipment modifications, upgrades, and plant improvement projects.

Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and maintenance team members to improve operational performance.
Qualifications
-
Valid Ontario 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) License preferred.

Minimum 3-5 years of millwright experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.

Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, conveyor, and rotating equipment systems.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and equipment manuals.

Welding and fabrication experience considered an asset.

Basic computer skills for maintenance documentation and work orders.
