Laboratory Technician PVT Lab

Summary

AGAT Laboratories is currently looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our PVT Labworking out of our Calgary Alberta facility. In this positionthe successful candidate will bethe second level position in the laboratory. This position is given direction from the Laboratory Manager and assists with laboratory services.

What you will be doing:

• Perform PVT laboratory procedures
• Compile verify and validate accurate data records
• Experience in lab instrumentation especially PVT equipment is a strong asset
• Regularly maintain calibrate and troubleshoot essential laboratory equipment
• Report results
• Other duties as assigned

What you bring to the table:

• Post-secondary education with a Technical Diploma or Science Degree.
• 0-5 years laboratory work experience.
• Previous experience in an oil or PVT lab environment would be considered an asset.
• Intermediate computer skills with MS office and LIMS.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks within a fast-paced work environment.
• Hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Mature work ethic with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds on a consistent basis.
