Hello! We live north west central Calgary, Alberta and are in search of a compassionate and dedicated caregiver. This is a live out, part-time position focused on delivering quality home care to one sweet full care male quadriplegic, Saturdays 9am - 1pm and casual weekdays, 9am- 1pm. Responsibilities include: - administer morning care routines including bed bath, mouth care and toothbrushing, grooming - g-tube feeding and medication delivery - suction - oxygen management - condom catheter, bowel care - ROM - dressing - transferring using a ceiling lift and sling You are willing to adjust your methods for clients special care needs. You have the ability to work well with and without supervision. We're looking for someone who is attentive, detail oriented. reliable, and has a warm personality. Being able to communicate effectively in English is a must. The pay is $23 per hour and increases to $24 once you can work alone. If you have 2 years plus in Canadian home care and previous nursing or related disability care, we would love to hear from you.
