Hello! We live north west central Calgary, Alberta and are in search of a compassionate and dedicated caregiver. This is a live out, part-time position focused on delivering quality home care to one sweet full care male quadriplegic, Monday, Wednesday and Friday 5 - 9pm for tub baths. Responsibilities include: - g-tube feeding and medication delivery - suction, assist with postural drainage - oxygen management - undressing - condom catheter management - experience transferring using a ceiling lift and sling - thorough relaxed bathing - detailed skin care for contractures - thorough bathroom cleaning - towel laundering You are willing to adjust your methods for clients special care needs. You have the ability to work well with and without supervision. We're looking for someone who is attentive, detail oriented. reliable, honest, with a warm personality. Being able to communicate effectively in English is a must. The pay is $22 per hour and increases to $23 once you can work unsupervised.
