Job description
Your NewpanyYou’ll be joining a fast-growing constructionpany specializing in hydronic in-floor heating systems for custom homes and high-end residential renovations. They manage a large volume of active residential projects across the GTA and are known for their technical expertise, organization, and client-focused approach. They are looking to hire multiple HVAC Maintenance Technicians (2x Junior, 1x Senior) to join their team during a period of exciting growth. They are seeking motivated individuals with excellentmunication skills who want to contribute meaningfully to a growing organization where their work has a direct impact on successful project oues.Your New JobAs an HVAC Maintenance Technician, you will support ongoing service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of high-performance residential installations. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality work in premium residential environments and values professionalism when interacting with clients.This position will require you to visit the office location in Toronto's West End (High Park) but will be based on-site across locations in the GTA.Your responsibilities will include:
  • Performing preventative maintenance and seasonal servicing on hydronic in-floor heating systems, including boilers, pumps, manifolds, and controls
  • Inspect, test, and optimize system performance for efficiency and reliability
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues such as uneven heating, flow imbalances, or control failures
  • Flush, purge, and balance hydronic systems
  • Troubleshoot low-voltage controls, thermostats, zoning systems, and smart integrations
  • Replace or repair defectiveponents with minimal disruption to finished homes
  • Assist with system startups andmissioning on new custom builds or renovation projects
  • Verify proper installation and system performance according to design specifications
  • Document system settings and provide turnover notes
  • Provide professional, courteous service in occupied, high-end residential environments
  • Educate homeowners on system operation and best practices
  • Maintain clear and accurate service records

  • An educational in HVAC Diploma/apprenticeship/mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
  • Junior Technician requires 2+ HVAC service/maintenance experience
  • Senior Technician requires 5+ years of experience
  • Experience working with boilers (gas/condensing) and pumping systems
  • Knowledge of hydronic heating systems (in-floor/radiant preferred)
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and system schematics
  • Valid driver’s license

  • Familiarity with leading hydronic/boiler brands (e.g., Viessmann, Lochinvar, NTI, etc.)
  • Knowledge of controls and smart home integrations
  • Gas license or relevant trade certifications
  • Refrigeration/HVAC license is an asset

  • $24-$30 per hour
Senior HVAC Maintenance Technician: 5+ years of experience
  • $40-$52 per hour
