Maintenance Technician, Toronto

The OpportunityThis position supports the daily operation and maintenance ofmercial building systems. The ideal candidate will have strong HVAC and mechanical knowledge, enjoy troubleshooting equipment, responding to tenant requests, and ensuring building systems operate safely and efficiently.Key Responsibilities

• Respond to tenant service requests related to HVAC, heating, cooling, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Perform daily building rounds, inspections, equipment monitoring, and logging.
• Operate and maintain HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems.
• Troubleshoot HVAC, mechanical, and Building Automation System (BAS) issues.
• Support pumps, boilers, chillers, air handling units, generators, and related equipment.
• Coordinate with contractors and service providers while maintaining safety and operational standards.

What We're Looking For

• Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems and building operations.
• Experience with preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, specifications, and equipment manuals.
• Experience in building operations, facilities maintenance, HVAC service, or related environments.
• Strong customer service,munication, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid Ontario Driver's License.

Preferred Background

• Hands-on HVAC installation, service, or maintenance experience.
• Gas Technician 2 (G2) certification.
• Building Operator, Facilities Maintenance, Property Operations, or HVAC Service experience.
• Experience with BAS/CMMS systems.
• HVAC-related diploma or technical education.
• Experience with quoting, estimating, supplier pricing verification, job costing, and customer support within the HVAC industry.
