You don't wait for leads to come to you. You build your pipeline, work your network, knock on doors, and then turn those wins into long-term client relationships that pay you year after year.

Most sales roles make you choose between hunting new logos and nurturing existing ones. This role rewards both.

You'll have the freedom to prospect aggressively — cold outreach, referrals, community networking, market research — and the tools to grow and deepen the accounts you win. The longer you're in territory, the more you earn. That's the model. That's the goal.

You're not selling ads. You're consulting on marketing strategy — diagnosing a client's business challenge and prescribing the right digital solution. That makes you invaluable to your clients, not interchangeable.

  • Base salary + uncapped commission on every deal you close

What You'll Actually Do

Hunt:

  • Prospect relentlessly — cold outreach, community events, referrals, networking
  • Build a strong, qualified pipeline from day one
  • Research your market and stay ahead of competitor moves

Consult:

  • Meet with local business owners and decision-makers to understand their real marketing challenges
  • Build tailored advertising and media plans with measurable outcomes
  • Present and pitch solutions that genuinely move the needle for clients

Grow & Retain:

  • Develop deep, strategic relationships with your existing accounts
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities as client needs evolve
  • Forecast accurately and keep your CRM current — it works for you, not just the organization

Collaborate:

  • Work with marketing and product teams to deliver compelling proposals
  • Stay sharp on digital advertising trends, audience strategy, and the local competitive landscape

Qualifications

  • Have B2B outside/field sales experience — especially in a consultative or solution-sell environment (we'll consider strong hunters without it; we can teach the fundamentals)
  • Have a proven track record of hitting or exceeding quota
  • Are self-directed and disciplined — you manage your own schedule and hold yourself accountable
  • Communicate with confidence, listen well, and can tailor your pitch to any room
  • Have a working understanding of digital advertising and audience strategy (a genuine advantage, not just a buzzword)
  • Hold a valid Ontario G driver's licence and have reliable transportation

Please note: This role involves handling client credit card information. PCI compliance is required; full training is provided during onboarding.

This is a hybrid role based in Halton Region. You'll spend approximately three days per week face-to-face with clients and prospects — the rest is yours to manage. You set your own pace, own your calendar, and answer for your results.
