Our exciting work environment offers the opportunity to learn and grow, while collaborating in a team-oriented culture that promotes equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging. Together, we deliver unrivaled experiences for our students, employees and the communities we serve. Read our 2025-2030 strategic plan.

The Social Media Manager is a key member of the Marketing, Communications and Recruitment (MCRE) team and will contribute to advancing the college’s reputation, attracting prospective students, and strengthening engagement with internal and external audiences. The team collaborates closely with academic and service areas to deliver coordinated campaigns, meaningful communications and experiences that connect people to opportunity and bring the Georgian brand to life.

Position Overview:

We’re seeking a creative and strategic social media expert who understands the power of storytelling to inform, inspire and connect people. In this role, you’ll help shape how Georgian College shows up online. Part storyteller, part trend-spotter and part community builder, you’ll uncover meaningful stories, identify emerging opportunities and create engaging content that strengthens our reputation, builds community and supports enrolment goals. More than a content creator, you understand how social media can spark conversations, build trust and help people see themselves as part of the Georgian story.

If you’re passionate about social media, energized by creativity and collaboration, and always thinking, “there’s a story here,” we’d love to hear from you.
