Security Guard

In this role, you’ll be the first line of defense—monitoring surveillance systems, patrolling facilities, responding to incidents, enforcing site regulations, and maintaining the highest safety standards. You’ll also conduct routine inspections, prepare detailed reports, and help identify and address potential security risks.

We are currently seeking a full-time Security Guard in Vegreville (day shift / night shift) with a schedule that includes weekdays. This role offers consistent hours and is ideal for professionals who enjoy being proactive, solving problems on the spot, and working in a dynamic environment while maintaining a strong security presence across all days of operation.

What Will You Do

• Maintain facilities according to Edon standards and contract requirements
• Identify, address, and report security concerns
• Uphold order and enforce site regulations for personnel, visitors, and premises
• Respond to incidents, generate incident reports, and investigate security‑related concerns
• Conduct routine building walk‑throughs and generate detailed reports
• Follow access control, patrol procedures, and fire safety protocols to maintain a secure environment
