Job description
Delta West Academy is looking for someone to join our team as an After-School Care Specialist. We are a small independent school located in Bridgeland, Calgary, AB, operating for students from Kindergarten to Grade 12.Typically our program operates for 10-15 students and runs from 3:30-5:00pm, and is available to students from Kindergarten to Grade 6.There may be additional opportunities to be involved in school activities such as field trips, or all school events such as our Christmas Concert, and Graduation.The successful candidate will be joining another After-School Care Specialist to operate the program. We are looking for someone who is will to work collaboratively to ensure a safe and caring environment for our students at the end of their school day.Our After-School Care Program includes time for students to work on homework in a supportive environment, as well as having additional time to engage in planned activities with our After-School Care Team. The successful candidate will need to provide the school with a criminal record/vulnerable sector, and they must also have First Aid Certification.
