The Grande Prairie Public School DivisionInvites applications for:Journeyperson Plumber/GasfitterMaintenance DepartmentCOMPETITION NUMBER: I2627-03Permanent Full-Time (40 hours per week)Effective Immediately Applications will be accepted until a suitable candidate is found.The Grande Prairie Public School Division invites applications for a Journeyman Plumber/Gasfitter. This role is responsible for the construction, repair, and maintenance of Division systems, including air conditioning, boilers, DDC controls, and plumbing and heating infrastructure. The successful will demonstrate strong technical expertise, current industry knowledge, and the ability to support both special projects and general maintenance activities.This position also supports the overall maintenance of all school buildings, grounds, and equipment contributing to a safe and functional environment for students, employees, and the public. The Maintenance Department works as a collaborative team, all team members are expected to support and assist with general maintenance duties, regardless of trade specialization, as required.Compensation:Salary is commensurate with training and experience. The annual salary for this position is up to $92,185.
