Resident Manager, Property Management (North Vancouver, BC)

This role is a liveinposition and requires residency inanonsitedesignated arrangement supports thehandson responsive nature of the role and helps ensure seamless support for our household/team needs.

You will

• Work directly with a Property Manager to ensure preventative maintenance is completed and supervise contractors/trades who are on site
• Complete minor buildings repairs such as painting basic plumbing and carpentry minor electrical repairs andassistjanitorial duties asrequire
• Conduct standard move in and move out inspections asrequire
• Deliver an exemplary level of customer service by responding professionally and promptly to resident inquiries greeting tenantsvisitorsand contractors
  
• Complete daily inspections of the propertyscommon areas building exterior and any amenities to ensure all aremaintainedto a high standard and move in and move out inspections asrequire
• Conduct inspections of all utility and storage rooms and ensure cleanliness
  
• Complete monthlyquarterlyand annual building reports through Yardi
  
• Oversee elevator bookings and ensure security ismaintainedduring moves
  
• Supervise the use of any amenity areas
  
• Respond to and coordinate tenant repairs
  
• Answer the building phone line on a rotationtoresolve tenant concerns and be on call for property emergencies
  
• Program security fobs asand ensure the propertyis safe and secure at all time
• Ensure the Property Management Officeandproperty interior and exteriorarecleanandtidy
  in conjunction with others
  
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation including the RTA Fire Codes WCB OH&S
  
• Attend staff meetings
  
• Assistif needed at our other multi-family properties in the Metro Vancouver area.
  
• Show suites to prospective tenantsevaluatingcandidatesand providing feedback to the property manager.
• Other duties as assigned.

You have

• Minimum of 2years residential maintenance experience
  
• Understanding of BC Residential Tenancy Act and its application an asset
  
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  
• Willingness to learn and the ability to work without direction a self-starter
  
• Proficiencyin Microsoft Office applications: Outlook Word Excel and experience with Yardi Rent Caféand Maintenance IQis an asset.

Compensation:$60000 - $65000 per annum depending on experience. As this is a livein position you will be living in a brand-new suite (taxable benefit further details to be provided during the interview).
