The Role

We are looking for a highly intelligent independent and driven Process Improvement Specialist to join our team for a 1-year contract. In this highly visible corporate role within the Treasury & Shared Services Business Process & Special Projects team you will lead a comprehensive discovery of our Cash Applications department. Acting as a strategic partner to the Manager of Cash Operations you will execute a complete top-to-bottom study of the departmentgathering processes updating SOPs identifying pain points scoping solutions with concrete ROI and driving implementation to tackle system gaps and structural workflow improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently work to develop a comprehensive understanding and summary of current state cash application processes and systems.

• Review and Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) according to existing or new processes.

• Utilize process mapping techniques to document current-state and future-state processes and systems.

• Identify structural bottlenecks system pain points and operational inefficiencies.

• Scope out actionable solutions. Develop and present proposals to management supported by ROI calculations and data.

• Actively assist in and drive the rollout and implementation of approved initiatives.

• Partake in testing for process or system changes (UAT) and identify and document testing gaps.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

What Were Looking For

• Experience: 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst Process Improvement Specialist or similar strategic role with a proven track record of leading process improvements.

• Education: University degree in Business Finance or a related field.

• Technical Skills: Advanced expertise with Excel/Google Sheets PowerPoint/Google Slides and process mapping tools (e.g. LucidChart Visio). Expert ability to write comprehensive SOPs.

• Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical skills with a proven ability to independently identify root-cause issues and build compelling business cases. Highly self-directed with the ability to manage multiple priorities drive a project methodology forward without micromanagement and confidently navigate ambiguity. Excellent communication skills to present complex ideas clearly to leadership.

• Bonus Points: Subject matter expertise in the realm of cash applications. Experience with ERP systems and working through large-scale system integrations.

• Working Conditions: Primarily in an office environment.

• Employment Details: This is a salaried corporate contract position (1-year term).
