Job Description

AECOM is seeking a driven Municipal EIT / PM to join our Saskatoon, SK office. This role is ideal for a civil engineering professional with strong experience in municipal infrastructure design and construction, and a solid foundation in construction management principles. You’ll collaborate within a dynamic team environment, engage directly with clients, and play a key role in delivering water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects. We’re looking for someone proactive, motivated, and energized by seeing projects through from concept to completion.

The responsibilities of this position include:

  • Apply knowledge of municipal water, wastewater, and drainage conveyance infrastructure
  • Design civil systems for water, wastewater, and drainage facilities
  • Conduct constructability reviews and construction inspections
  • Lead construction contract administration
  • Prepare design documentation, reports, specifications, and contract documents
  • Develop construction cost estimates
  • Support client communication and relationship management

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
  • 4+ years of related experience with civil engineering, design, construction inspection, contract administration.
  • EIT or P.Eng designation with APEGS or ability to obtain within 6 months

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with municipal water, wastewater and/or stormwater conveyance and pumping infrastructure.
  • Experience in proposal writing, scoping and project management
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, contractors and clients.
  • Comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Project Management experience would be an asset.
