Imagine leading the creative charge for multiple brands, guiding a talented team, and collaborating directly with clients to craft social strategies that actually move the needle. If you want your work to be noticed, valued, and celebrated—this is your moment to shine at Digital Shift.

Social Media Lead at Digital Shift

Do you see social media as more than just posts and likes? Are you passionate about driving real reach and conversions through innovative, multi-platform campaigns? Join Digital Shift as our Social Media Lead and champion the social presence for a diverse portfolio of North American brands.

In this role, you’ll not only oversee and approve content for our clients but also onboard and collaborate with them to develop winning strategies. You’ll guide and delegate to a skilled social team, ensuring every campaign is impactful, on-brand, and ahead of the curve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Social Strategy: Onboard clients and develop tailored plans to achieve their marketing goals across all major social platforms.
  • Oversee Brand Presence: Manage and approve social media content for multiple brands, ensuring consistency and creativity.
  • Creative Direction: Review, create, and delegate engaging posts, stories, and campaigns—leveraging vertical video, photo, and paid social for maximum impact.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide the social team, delegating tasks and ensuring top-quality deliverables.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with content, SEO, and design teams to amplify client messaging and drive campaign results.
  • Monitor & Optimize: Analyze reach and conversion data, providing actionable insights to refine strategies.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure every post, campaign, and client interaction reflects Digital Shift’s high standards.
  • Calendar Management: Coordinate and maintain a robust social media calendar for multiple brands.

Requirements

  • 4–5+ years of hands-on social media experience within an agency or brand environment.
  • Proven expertise in leading social campaigns for multiple brands or clients.
  • Strong consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), and communication skills.
  • Experience onboarding clients and planning social media strategies in direct partnership with them.
  • Comfortable working on a team, delegating tasks, and providing constructive feedback.
  • Detail-oriented and able to multi-task seamlessly in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Proficiency with major social platforms, analytics, and scheduling tools.
  • Experience with vertical video creation (an asset).
  • Degree/diploma in Communications, Marketing, Business, Public Relations, Journalism, or English.
