About the Role

We’re hiring a Telecom Drawing Checker for a 6-month contract, to help review and validate telecom network design drawings. You’ll work closely with experienced engineers and designers to ensure quality and compliance in our deliverables. We’re looking for someone detail-oriented and eager to learn—we can train the right person.

Key Responsibilities

- Review telecom infrastructure drawings (e.g. fiber, coax, and pole line diagrams) for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards,

- Identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in drawings,

- Collaborate with designers and project teams to resolve issues and ensure designs are build-ready,

- Ensure that redlines, revisions, and quality standards are properly applied,

- Maintain organized records of drawing versions and updates.

What We're Looking For

- Sharp attention to detail and a methodical approach to reviewing technical information,

- Familiarity with reading utility or engineering drawings (telecom experience is an asset),

- Comfort using digital tools such as Adobe Acrobat, Google Workspace, and (optionally) AutoCAD, or GIS Software,

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills,

- Curiosity and willingness to learn - training will be provided.

Nice to Haves

- Experience in telecom design, drafting, or construction,

- Post- secondary education in engineering, drafting, or a technical field,

- Knowledge of industry standards and permitting processes.

Why Join Us

- Training Provided: We're happy to train motivated candidates who bring the right attitude,

- Meaningful Work: Your efforts will support real-world telecom infrastructure projects across Canada,

- Supportive Culture: Work with a helpful, experienced team in a collaborative environment,

- Hybrid Flexibility: Join us on-site in Burnaby for collaboration days and work remotely the rest of the time.
