Position: Journeyman & Apprentice Pipefitters – Turnaround (Fort Saskatchewan AB)





We are currently hiring Journeyman and Apprentice Pipefitters (employees & DSPs) for a turnaround project in Fort Saskatchewan, AB starting early March, 2026.




Project Details:






  • Location: Fort Saskatchewan, AB

  • Start Date: early March, 2026




Qualifications & Education:






  • Journeyman Certificate or active Apprenticeship in Pipefitting

  • Relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry

  • Required certifications: H2S Alive, CSTS or CSO, WHMIS 2015, Confined Space and Fall Protection

  • Preferred certifications: Elevated Work Platform (EWP) and First Aid.

  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License

  • Successful completion of Pre-Access Drug & Alcohol testing




Skills, Attributes, and Responsibilities:






  • Ability to read and interpret Isometric Drawings

  • Expertise in piping systems, including measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, bolt-ups, torquing, and bending

  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment in complex decision-making

  • Effective communication skills and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

  • Ensure all work meets Canoco’s safety protocols and client-specific requirements

  • Take initiative in contributing to training and mentorship opportunities within the Pipefitter role
