Job description

At Steele Auto Group, work is more than a place you go each day, it’s a place where your voice matters, your growth is supported, and your impact is felt. Every interaction, every conversation, every moment is part of something bigger. Delivering the Best Customer Experience starts with people who feel valued, empowered, and inspired.

Every day, our team helps thousands of customers across Atlantic Canada enjoy a seamless automotive experience. Behind every appointment booked, every question answered, and every concern resolved is someone making a real difference. That someone could be you.

We're looking for a Bilingual Client Care Associate (English & French) who thrives on creating exceptional customer experiences and building meaningful connections. In this role, your bilingual communication skills will help customers feel heard, understood, and supported.

If you're passionate about helping people, love working in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy being part of a team that celebrates success, we'd love to hear from you.

Location: Remote, with occasional travel (less than 5%) to dealerships throughout Atlantic Canada.

Please note: this role is open to applicants within Atlantic Canada only.

This opportunity offers a progressive call center environment with no evenings, no weekends, and no overnight shifts.

Hours of operation: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Compensation: Hourly rate ranging from $17.50 to $20.30, plus an additional $1.00 per hour bilingual premium, with the opportunity to earn up to $ in monthly bonuses.

What You'll Be Doing (a.k.a. Your Mission!):

Your main goal? Deliver top-notch customer experiences with enthusiasm. Whether that’s over the phone, via email, or any other channel they reach out on. Here's a peek at what your day might look like:

  • Delivering friendly, helpful, and professional support to customers via phone, email, and more; think VIP concierge vibes.
  • Scheduling appointments and reminding customers about upcoming service needs like the organized rockstar you are.
  • Keeping things running smoothly by managing your workload and juggling priorities with ease.
  • Following up on inquiries and solving issues with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Keeping customer records up to date and handling confidential info with care.
  • Collaborating with our dealerships to ensure seamless communication and top-tier customer service.
  • Jumping in where needed. Whether it’s updating systems, resolving issues, or lending a hand on the fly.
  • Conduct outbound calls (approximately 50%) to proactively reach out to customers, drive business to dealerships, and help keep service shops and technicians busy; this may vary based on dealership needs
  • Handle inbound inquiries (approximately 50%), assisting customers with booking appointments, answering questions, and providing support; this may vary based on dealership needs

What We're Looking For:

  • Bilingual in French and English
  • Tech-savvy with strong computer skills and Microsoft Office know-how (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • A people person with a passion for great service, and the experience to prove it.
  • Great communication skills, you’re a pro at listening and making yourself understood.
  • Organized, with the ability to juggle priorities without dropping the ball.
  • Motivated, detail-oriented, and ready to bring your A-game every day.
  • A team player who also shines when working independently.
  • Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
