Position Title: Marketing Coordinator

Reporting to: Managing Director

Job Type: Full-Time

Timings: 9 am to 5 pm (Remote)

Location: Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

Position Purpose:

The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating digital marketing activities, managing client communication, supporting client onboarding, and ensuring smooth delivery of digital marketing services. This role is ideal for someone with a strong marketing background who understands how digital marketing services are planned, executed, tracked, reported, and improved. The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the Marketing Manager and internal teams to ensure that client deliverables are completed on time and aligned with client goals. The ideal candidate should have experience working in the digital marketing industry. Preference will be given to Candidates based in Edmonton, Alberta, as they will be responsible for attending conferences and meetings held there.

Education & Professional Qualification:

  • Degree(s)/Major(s): Bachelor's or Master's in a relevant field from a reputed local/foreign University.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of proven working experience in a related field.

Responsibilities:

  • Onboard new clients and clearly explain the services, deliverables, timelines, and communication process.
  • Understand client business goals, target audience, service expectations, and marketing requirements before coordinating work with internal teams.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager to plan, organize, and coordinate monthly marketing activities for assigned clients.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including Web Developers, SEO, Social Media, Content, Design, and Paid Ads, to ensure timely delivery of client work.
  • Prepare and maintain marketing task plans, content calendars, campaign schedules, deliverable trackers, and client follow-up lists.
  • Ensure all marketing deliverables are properly briefed, assigned, followed up, reviewed, and completed according to the client’s package.
  • Review completed work before client submission to ensure it matches the client’s requirements, brand guidelines, and marketing objectives.
  • Monitor the progress of SEO, SMM, paid ads, website updates, content, and design tasks, and escalate delays or issues when needed.
  • Collect client feedback, approvals, content, access details, and other required information to avoid delays in marketing execution.
  • Track campaign performance, review reports, and coordinate with the Marketing Manager to suggest improvements where required.
  • Keep clients updated on marketing progress, monthly activities, campaign results, pending items, and next steps.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups and check-ins with clients to maintain strong communication and improve satisfaction.
  • Support client retention by identifying concerns early, resolving communication gaps, and ensuring consistent service delivery.
  • Identify upsell, cross-sell, and upgrade opportunities based on client goals, campaign performance, and business needs.
  • Maintain accurate client records, meeting notes, task updates, approvals, reports, and communication history in the CRM or project management system.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing Manager to ensure all client accounts are aligned with company processes, quality standards, and monthly marketing goals.
  • Attend client meetings, networking events, conferences, or local business meetings in Edmonton when required.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.

  • Experience in a digital marketing agency is strongly preferred.

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing services such as SEO, social media marketing, paid advertising, content marketing, website development, landing pages, design, branding, and lead generation.
  • Ability to understand client requirements and convert them into clear marketing tasks for internal teams.
  • Excellent communication, follow-up, coordination, and client handling skills.
  • Ability to work with designers, developers, SEO specialists, content writers, social media teams, and ads specialists.
  • Good understanding of marketing KPIs, campaign performance, reporting, and client results.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients, subscriptions, deliverables, and deadlines at the same time.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management.
  • Experience using CRM software, project management tools, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and cloud-based tools.
  • Ability to identify client concerns, solve problems, and support long-term client retention.
  • Ability to identify upsell, cross-sell, renewal, and upgrade opportunities.
  • Professional attitude with strong business communication skills.
