Job details:

This role is in-person. You must be able to commute to this location. This is not an online job. No relocation package is offered. Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory.

Responsibilities (Position Details):

As the EducationCoordinator you participate in the centres operations including working with multiple people from centre staff to teachers to parents and of course the students! You will work directly with the Centre Director as a key staff member with the following responsibilities:

• set up and administer assessments
• establish and oversee student learning programs
• ensure that the Oxford Learning philosophy is being maintained throughout the centre
• maintain contact with parents and meet with them to discuss their childs progress
• create a fun and energetic learning environment on a daily basis
• effectively master the Oxford Learning Teaching philosophy as well as coach other teaching members of the team
• liaise with members of the community (schools sports teams and local businesses)
• organize schedules for students staff and teachers
• help inform inquiring parents about our Oxford Learning programs

We encourage you to apply if you have the majority of the following requirements:

Education:

• Minimum university degree (Credits in Education Social Sciences Languages Math and Science preferred)
• Strong secondary school mathematics skills or good knowledgeof high school scienceare an asset
• Additional language(s) spokenare an asset

Experience:

• Work in an educational environment dealing with medium to large student bodies
• Experience in customer service and strong phone skills
• Strong computer skills (MS Office online communication apps)

Job Type: Part-time

Salary:$20 - $23 / hour

Schedule:

• Monday toThursday from 12pm to 8:30pm
• Saturday from 8:30am to 2pm
