Are you interested in a challenge that will reward your unique blend of business and technology skills Are you excited by the opportunity to be central in addressing significant business-impacting processes and products Do you enjoy the challenge and ownership that comes from delivering large cross-functional IT projects As a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (TIPM) for IT Services you will have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in the future of IT Services. As a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager you will be the glue between stakeholders to ensure our customers receive the right outcomes that drive customer obsessed security. As a Technical Program Manager for the IT Services organization you will facilitate the transition of critical IT Services used by our customers to an externalized network platform that has no reliance on a traditional private corporate style this role you will be the primary point of contact for the assigned services to align customer technical requirements to the business strategy by working cross functionally in AWS. This role requires senior program and project management experience as customer engagement stakeholder management and effective communication is critical. This role requires you to have effective written and verbal skills as this program has director and VP level visibility. As a TPM you will ensure projects in the program are being scoped planned delivered and closed in line with the agreed success measures budget schedule and quality. This will require you to partner with service owners and operators to determine the right business outcomes.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and own complex projects having enterprise wide impact.
- Establish the forward looking strategy and gain support for implementation.
- Conduct pre-project requirement gathering scoping project approval planning oversee delivery and verification of strategic goals.
- Develop gap analysis functional specifications project schedules and milestones.
- Work with stakeholders to identify resources assemble project teams and assign responsibilities.
- Assess costs benefits and risks plus identify and respond to risks and high-priority issues rapidly and effectively through effective action and appropriate escalation.
- Balance business needs with technical and security requirements.
- Clearly communicate goals responsibilities issues and status to customers and senior managers.
- Lead and streamline the transition of IT Services in to production.
- Ensure changes are effectively released ensuring feedback mechanisms are established.
- Build effective relationships with stakeholder and service owners.
- Publish accurate and concise reports on time to maintain visibility and accountability.

Key job responsibilities
The key job functions of the Technical Infrastructure Program Manager are:

Own the identification scoping and delivery strategy for the Infrastructure and AV solutions in Amazon offices.
Own projects and initiatives having regional impact including project schedules and milestones.
Effectively manage stakeholders to successfully deliver the agreed scope.
Understand and identify technical obstacles to successfully deliver the designed architecture identify and mitigate risks.
Assess costs and benefits and maintain financial reporting control.
Manage escalation anticipate and make tradeoffs and balance business needs with technical constraints.
Clearly communicate project and program status responsibilities and issues to stakeholders


A day in the life
Reviewing requests from customers ensuring that required information is available to understand the ask. Working on new designs collaborating with customers and stakeholder teams while being an advocate of standards designing Infrastructure and AV installations. Removing blockers and handling customer concerns and escalations. Timely updating of project work through the tracking tool ensuring that updates are concise but informative for senior management and customers. Working on cross collaboration projects that need Infrastructure and AV expertise and guidance..

About the team
The Corporate Infrastructure Services team (CIS) is part of the IT Services organization that supports all Amazonians at corporate offices. CIS designs plan builds maintains and deprecates the infrastructure in all corporate offices worldwide. This includes running Amazons corporate campus & building infrastructure worldwide. We are passionate about ensuring our customers receive world class IT Services and making sure they have the best possible experience while working from the office.

- 3 years of technical infrastructure management experience
- Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure (i.e. network data center hardware software)
- Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds
- 2 years of delivering cross functional projects experience
- 2 Years Experience of Managing Enterprise Level Infrastructure and AV Services Support Design Hardware Deployment
- 2 Years Experience of managing cross-functional Infrastructure and AV projects.

- 3 years of working directly within engineering teams experience
- 5 years of project/program management experience
- Experience leading the design automation deployment and support of large-scale infrastructure
- Experience in project management including resource planning managing schedules reporting project status and prioritizing own tasks and those of other team members for multiple projects
- Experience working in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organization
- Experience with information security relational databases and cloud computing.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company Amazons package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location. Amazon offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical dental vision prescription basic life & AD&D insurance) Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP) paid time off and other resources to improve health and well-being.
