Job description

We are currently recruiting for a full-time Office Administrator to join our clients growing team in Aurora. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, customer-focused professional who enjoys a variety of responsibilities and wants to grow with a successful small business.

In this role, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, supporting office administration, customer service, bookkeeping through QuickBooks, and general business functions while helping create a positive experience for clients and visitors. We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive, professional, and eager to take initiative.

Location: Aurora, ON

Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 per year

Shift: Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls
  • Welcome visitors and provide professional customer service
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and courier deliveries
  • Pick up mail and complete occasional local errands as required
  • Maintain office files, records, and documentation
  • Process invoices and administrative transactions using QuickBooks
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and other business documents
  • Order and maintain office supplies
  • Support management with various administrative projects
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Required Qualifications

  • Experience or education in Office Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Customer service-oriented with a professional demeanor
  • Valid G Driver's License and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are considered assets and may influence hiring decisions and starting compensation:

  • Social media management experience
  • Marketing, public relations, or sales experience
  • Content creation and online marketing knowledge
  • Quality Assurance (QA) experience
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems
  • Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives
