Are you passionate about driving high value solutions to your clients and want to work with a team in a company that believes in Integrity, Competence, Value and Fun? We are looking for an energetic and motivated Integration Developer for our Integrated Global Services branch located in any of the following cities, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, or Toronto. In this role you are key in the design, development, deployment, maintenance, and continuous innovation of Long View’s enterprise service bus integration capabilities. You will work to solve complex business problems by using integrated technology and tools.

A Day in the Life:

• Design, develop, deploy, maintain, and continuously improve integration related components across Long View’s tool portfolio
• Write code to integrate client and Long View tools together
• Leverage internal and client subject matter experts to gather details to improve integration capabilities
• Build global consistency by developing internal software standards in alignment with your peers and at the direction of leadership
• Build and maintain tools, solutions and microservices associated with deployment and our operations platforms, ensuring that all meet our customer service standards
• Test our system integrity, implemented designs, application developments and other processes related to infrastructure, making improvements as needed
• Develop frameworks that are deployed across Long View to create consistency and standards for how integration technology is used
• Lead the continual service improvement activities surrounding Long View’s service bus and integration technologies
• Work closely with senior developer and principal architect team members to fulfill requests
• Be available to assist in resolving client impacting situations
• Reviewing code work for accuracy and functionality
• Creating and implementing design plans
• Analyzing code segments regularly
• Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and technology developments

What You Bring:

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related
• Knowledge of software development and its technologies
• Experience developing solutions with Microsoft Azure technology such as Service Bus, Function Apps, App Services
• Experience developing and deploying full stack applications
• Strong knowledge of Python, T-SQL
• Experience working with jQuery, JavaScript, CSS and HTML
• Experience working with Django, ORM, Django REST framework, AngularJS, PyCharm considered an asset
• Strong Understanding of HTTP protocol, RESTful API’s, SDK’s, SaaS models
• Experience working with relational databases on different technology platforms like Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience working with and managing code repositories, Azure DevOps and Git
• Solid experience in coding
• Strong knowledge of user interfaces
• Strong knowledge of web frameworks
• Experience with open-source technologies and cloud services considered an asset
• Experience with technologies including but not limited to LogicMonitor, PagerDuty, ServiceNow, Power BI considered an asset
