Job description
Join the Brenda Strafford Foundation in Calgary as the Director of Finance, Grants & Compliance. This key leadership role involves managing finances and grants within a mission-focused organization. The Brenda Strafford Foundation is offering a senior position for a Director of Finance, Grants & Compliance. This strategic role requires oversight of financial operations, grant management, and compliance assurance to enhance social impact. The candidate will interact with senior leaders and the Board to drive decision-making and program funding to align with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities: • Lead financial operations, budgeting, and forecasting • Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting and CRA regulations • Manage financial statement preparation and audits • Coordinate grant budgeting and reporting processes • Strengthen governance and internal control standards Requirements: • At least seven years of financial management experience in nonprofit • CPA or MBA designation preferred • Strong expertise in grants administration • Excellent judgment and communication skills • Deep commitment to mission-driven initiatives Leverage your financial acumen and leadership to foster impactful change at the Brenda Strafford Foundation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
