:59 PMIn this role you will interact regularly with people in both official languages. Strong French-language proficiency is required (spoken written and reading) as you will manage content produced primarily in French.
Your Role
We are seeking an individual with a keen interest in regional current affairs in British Columbia and the local French-speaking community.
As a Media Librarian you will provide library and information services to programming and administrative teams. This role requires independent judgment and initiative and you may occasionally co-ordinate the activities of other team members.
Your work will be guided by CBC/Radio-Canadas programming and journalistic policies as well as agreements governing media asset usage.
Key Tasks:
This is a hybrid position with a mix of in-office and remote work. Work arrangements will be discussed with hiring managers per departmental guidelines.
