  • Host regular welding meetings in alignment with project requirements.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Review NDE (Non-Destructive Examination) results and ensure all defects or indications are properly addressed.
  • Ensure all repairs are completed using approved procedures and that root causes of defects are understood.
  • Track and monitor welding productivity and inspection outputs (e.g., daily weld counts).
  • Ensure all welding activities align with project specifications and the welding handbook.

Technical Coordination

  • Coordinate with subcontractors (e.g., preheat, PWHT, DHT) to align work priorities.
  • Develop and implement purge plans for specialty materials (e.g., stainless, alloy, chrome).
  • Define and verify purge requirements, including gas type, flow rates, monitoring, and acceptance criteria.
  • Engage with technical support groups (e.g., KWG) for training and technical inquiries.

Equipment & Materials Management

  • Proven ability to lead field crews and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong planning, scheduling, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience working on large-scale energy, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with specialty welding (e.g., stainless, alloy, chrome systems).
Other Requirements:
  • Regular, reliable attendance
  • Work productively and meet deadlines timely
  • Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment
  • Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
