Job description

Acadia Broadcasting is a growing media company with deep roots in Atlantic Canada and Northwestern Ontario. We’re known for being a trusted local voice—connecting communities through radio, digital platforms, and local storytelling while helping businesses grow.

As our industry evolves, so are we.

Today, Acadia is building toward a future as a multi-platform media and marketing organization, expanding beyond traditional radio into digital marketing, community portals, and integrated advertising solutions.

We’re looking for a Regional Manager to lead our New Brunswick operations—someone who can drive performance today while building the business for tomorrow.

This position may be based out either our Saint John or Moncton locations.

You will be responsible for the overall success of your region—leading teams across sales, programming and content, and operations; growing revenue across both radio and digital platforms; and strengthening our position in the communities we serve.

At the same time, you’ll play a key role in helping Acadia evolve—bringing new ideas forward, embracing new ways of working, and building the capabilities we need for the future of media.

Core responsibilities:

  • Lead the overall performance of the New Brunswick region, with accountability for revenue growth, financial results, and market leadership

  • Build and develop relationships with key business and community leaders to drive partnerships

  • A desire and passion for community involvement

  • Build and execute strategies to grow and diversify revenue across radio, digital, and integrated marketing solutions

  • Lead and develop high-performing teams across sales, content, and operations, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

  • Strengthen Acadia’s presence in local markets by building meaningful relationships with clients, partners, and community stakeholders

  • Drive a consistent and high-quality audience experience across on-air and digital platforms

  • Use data, insights, and market intelligence to inform decisions, improve performance, and identify growth opportunities

  • Lead the execution of company priorities within your region, ensuring alignment, clarity, and strong communication across teams

  • Champion new ways of working and support the evolution of the business, including adoption of tools, systems, and improved processes

  • Grow and retain key client relationships by delivering effective marketing solutions and measurable results

  • Collaborate closely with corporate and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with company direction and leverage shared capabilities

What we are looking for:

  • 5–7 years of proven leadership experience with accountability for business performance, revenue growth, and team development

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to understand markets, identify opportunities, and drive results

  • Experience leading in a sales-driven, media, marketing, or multi-channel environment

  • Demonstrated ability to build, coach, and develop high-performing teams

  • Comfortable using data and insights to guide decisions and improve performance

  • Ability to lead through change, bring clarity in ambiguity, and support teams through evolving priorities

  • Strong relationship builder with credibility across clients, partners, and community stakeholders

  • Effective communicator with the ability to align teams and execute with discipline

  • A forward-looking mindset with openness to new ideas, tools, and ways of working

  • Post-secondary education in business or a related field is considered an asset

What You Will Receive:

  • Competitive compensation with an incentive bonus
  • Flexible health and dental coverage, including life insurance and disability benefits
  • Annual Health Spending Account
  • Employer‑matched RRSP Program
  • Competitive vacation entitlement to start
  • Fitness reimbursement program
  • Employee & Family Assistance Program and a strong wellness offering
  • Company vehicle, laptop, and phone

At Acadia Broadcasting, we aim to be the best radio station — and the best place to work — in every market we serve. We believe in local programming, strong community ties, and giving talented people the space to do great work.
