Job description
Join United Way of Calgary and Area as the Vice President of Finance. Provide strategic oversight in finance and risk management while enhancing community impact through effective governance. As a pivotal member of the executive team, you will report to the Chief Operating Officer. This role demands extensive experience in financial management, compliance, and organizational leadership. You will guide strategic initiatives that focus on transparency and organizational resilience in support of community goals. Key Responsibilities: • Direct enterprise-wide financial planning and forecasting • Provide critical support and insights to the Executive Team • Manage donor services, compliance, and financial reporting • Oversee effective risk management and governance practices • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration Requirements: • CPA designation essential with a strong executive track record • Expertise in financial and risk management • Proven credibility with senior stakeholders and boards • Skilled at navigating complex environments with emotional intelligence • Experienced in leading diverse, high-performing teams Lead United Way through impactful financial stewardship and drive meaningful change for our community. #J-18808-Ljbffr
