Job description

You will play a key role in positioning human capital asa strategic lever for performance and organizational transformation. At the head of a corporate division, you will act as the architect of HR strategy, ensuring consistency across major programs and acting as a trusted partner to senior management. Through your leadership, you will directly influence organizational HR direction, the quality of the employee experience, organizational performance, and the organization's ability to meet its future talent management challenges. Your Role Reporting to the Senior Director of Talent and Culture, the incumbent will be responsible for: Designing, developing, and ensuring the governance of corporate HR programs, including: total compensation, employee relations, talent development, training, EDI, employee experience, health, and performance. organizational;

Contribute in a unionized environment, in partnership with the Treasury Board and several administrative bodies, with a key role in leading negotiations;

Ensure consistent and structured coordination with the two other HR departments;

Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team of approximately 10 HR professionals;

Strategically monitor trends and best practices, analyze organizational data and signals (climate, emerging issues), and recommend necessary adjustments;

Support organizational transformations (AI, hybrid model, cross-functional projects) by ensuring the alignment of HR programs;

Act as as a strategic advisor and ensure the consistency of corporate directions translated into programs, tools, and mechanisms adapted to the organization's needs. Your Talents and Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations, Human Resources Management, or a related field (graduate degree is an asset);

  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in human resources, including corporate responsibilities (HR governance, compensation, organizational development, labor relations);

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in team management;

  • Demonstrated ability to present and defend projects before an executive committee with impact and credibility;

  • Ability to bring together and align diverse talents to achieve results in a changing environment; Significant experience in project management and the deployment of structuring initiatives, particularly those related to organizational policies and programs; Excellent interpersonal skills and strong political acumen; Strategic thinking; Rigorous, analytical, and able to synthesize information; Excellent command of French, both spoken and written; Occasional travel required. The other site is required (approximately once or twice a month, with the possibility of increasing frequency depending on needs). Applications from Quebec City will be given preference.
