Job description

Your Opportunity:

Join our Clinical Trials Unit and help lead the future of cancer care! We are seeking dedicated oncology nurses with current Connect Care, and clinical trials experience who want to expand their knowledge in a dynamic research environment. In this role, you will support the unit’s Connect Care protocol development process and the coordination of clinical trials. Responsibilities can include templating clinical trials and participating in validations, helping to identify eligible study participants, obtaining informed consent, and executing study visits—including patient assessments, adverse event reviews, and safety monitoring. You may administer cancer treatments, perform blood collections, and conduct ECG monitoring as needed. You will support data collection and maintain source documentation according to strict ICH/GCP guidelines, complete operational approvals, assist with Research Ethics Board applications, and help prepare for Health Canada, FDA, and Sponsor audits. As a central point of contact, you will seamlessly liaise between patients, families, healthcare teams, and study monitors or sponsors. This on-site position features a primary assignment with our Connect Care team but also provides occasional clinical support within the wider unit. Flexibility is essential, as all positions within the unit may assist other groups or be reassigned as operational needs evolve. Bring your expertise to our team and help deliver high-quality, innovative patient care.
