Job description
Licensed Electrician Sign on Bonus $5,000Pay: $45.00 - $65.00 per hour, we pay based on experience. But at Welldone, every technician also works on HVAC equipment, and there is a lot of it. No HVAC experience? We will train you - that is the expectation, and the opportunity to add a second skill set.Position Overview:Run electrical service calls: troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems in commercial and light industrial buildings.Diagnose electrical issues and recommend practical, cost-effective solutions.Perform routine inspections and modify existing installations on renovation and retrofit projects.Install new systems and carry out retrofits in compliance with applicable codes and industry standards.Service, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipmentPerform preventative maintenance under year-round service contracts with established commercial accountsDeliver professional, high-quality customer service and complete accurate service documentation.What We Provide:Take-home work truck + gas cardCompany phoneCompany uniform + cleaning serviceTool, boot and unform accountLocally owned and operatedStability and growth with year-round workOvertime is available but not requiredMultiple professional career path optionsCompany paid education & industry trainingTeam eventsPositive culture motivated by continuous improvementHigh standard of professionalism in "who we are and what we do"Signing bonus contingent on experience and technical ability *Company Benefits:Medical and Dental insurance; 100% paid premiums by employerLife insuranceCritical illness insurance3 weeks paid vacation time / 120 hours11 paid holidaysBanked time programRRSP with company match programJob Qualifications:Journeyperson Electrician certificate preferred (Red Seal welcome) - registered apprentices are encouraged to apply.Proven experience in commercial/industrial electrical serviceWillingness to learn and work on HVAC equipment - no prior HVAC experience needed, we train you.Strong knowledge of local regulations and industry standardsAbility to read blueprints, schematics, and single-line diagrams.Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean, insurable driving record.Excellent interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers.Looking to Relocate?
