Facility Maintenance Technician

Overview

Facility Maintenance Technicians at WinSport are responsible for preventative maintenance and emergency repairs of the building, grounds, and mechanical systems. The role supports daily operations by ensuring all facilities, equipment, and guest areas are well-maintained, functional, and compliant with safety standards. The ideal candidate is hands-on, mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments year-round.

What You Will Be Doing

• Conduct routine inspections of facilities to ensure professional standards and safety are maintained.
• Monitor and assess the performance of heating and mechanical systems and diagnose operational issues.
• Perform and assist with routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, plumbing, appliances, and general building infrastructure.
• Carry out minor renovations, including drywall repair, painting, and general facility repairs and upgrades.
• Accurately document daily tasks, maintenance activities, and assigned projects to support tracking of department goals and performance expectations.
• Operate various types of heavy equipment such as forklifts, telehandlers, and mobile elevated work platforms.
• Consistently follow WinSport safety policies and procedures, demonstrating safe work practices to protect self, coworkers, and guests.
• Identify, monitor, and report workplace hazards, ensuring prompt communication to appropriate personnel.
• Review and comply with Occupational Health & Safety notices, meeting minutes, and departmental postings.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support facility operations.
