Business Development Executive

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Business Development Executive in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The Business Development Executive will be a key player of the sales team accountable for prospecting new business relationships and deploying the vision and strategic roadmap for key customers.
The Business Development Executive is results oriented and thrives in a fast-paced environment. They have the ability to sell based on product value using consultative based selling techniques.
Key Responsibilities :
- Accountable for the acquisition of net new B2B clients of Wireless and Wireline Services in a designated territory.
- Create detailed business plans designed to attain revenue targets and goals.
- Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and other practices.
- The Business Development Executive Serves as single point of contact and advocate for net new customers and is responsible for managing the entire sales cycle.
- Works collaboratively with all other company resources as required to achieve Sales goals.
- Responsibility for accurate Forecasting and proper sales administration functions.
The Ideal Candidate Brings :
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the telecom industry.
- Experience with prospecting new business through research, networking, and cold calling.
- Strong computer skills, specifically with Salesforce, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- A valid driver’s license.
