This role is best suited for a Manufacturing or Process Engineer with experience supporting automated assembly equipment in a production environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Develop and validate new automation processes, including feasibility studies and capability analysis
• Support continuous improvement of installed manufacturing equipment and processes
• Perform process capability studies, GR&R, and cycle time analysis
• Debug, run‑off, and implement automation cells in collaboration with customers and internal teams
• Conduct run‑at‑rate testing and support production validation activities
• Identify root causes of technical issues and implement corrective actions
• Prepare process engineering documentation (work instructions, parameter sheets, reports)
• Collaborate with engineering, suppliers, and project teams to ensure timely project completion
• Evaluate and select outsourced automation equipment and new technologies
• Create 2D layouts and support process flow development
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and generate innovation ideas
What We’re Looking For:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in process engineering for automated assembly operations
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (press, vision systems, leak testing, measurement systems, fastening, etc.)
• Experience with process capability analysis and improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma)
• Familiarity with PLC systems, robotics, and automation technologies
• Proficiency in CAD tools such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks
Bonus Points If You Have:
• Experience in automotive or high‑precision manufacturing environments
• Experience with robot simulation software
• Strong exposure to IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 quality systems
• Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives
