Miltow Colony School, Warner Miltow Colony School is located in the County of Warner and close to the eastern boundary of Horizon School Division. From Warner, travel 23.8 km east on highway 504, 1.2 km north on range road 145. 1.0 FTE Probationary Colony Teacher Assignment includes - This probationary position is a 1.0 FTE for the 2026-2027 school year. Hours of work- Monday to Thursday the school day starts at 8:55 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m. Friday the school day finishes at 12:00 p.m. The ideal candidate willbe prepared to always demonstrate respect for Hutterite culture, traditions and beliefsbe able to deliver quality instruction in a many-graded inclusive classroomwork effectively with an educational assistant and the colony school teambe an excellent planner, with a solid understanding of curriculum and assessment strategiesbe willing to complete the assessments required in a colony school (early years literacy and numeracy assessments, Fountas and Pinnell reading assessments, EAL Benchmarks 2.0) and prepare report cards (PowerSchool)have excellent personal, communication and organizational skillsbe able to deliver curriculum in a meaningful and culturally appropriate manner, without the use of technologycultivate and maintain positive relationships with the German Teacher, parents and members of the colonybe flexible, creative, committed and able to work well independently, as well as contribute positively to our team of colony teachersseek professional learning opportunities and engage in the ongoing growth of their professional practice.
