The successful candidate
will demonstrate fluency in Ukrainian based on the four language domains (listening, reading, speaking, and writing). Once hired, successful candidates will have the opportunity to apply for internal contact opportunities or be placed directly into a contract position that is aligned with their credentials, based on the needs of the division.Edmonton Catholic Schools requires all teachers (substitutes and contract teachers) to be Catholic unless specialized in the following areas:Career and Technology Studies (CTS) and Career and Technology Foundations (CTF)Lived Indigenous ExperiencesLanguages (Cree, French, Spanish, and Ukrainian)Music (Elementary and Secondary)Interested candidates that have a Bachelor of Education Degree, a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate, and are bilingual in English and Ukrainian are encouraged to apply.
