Warehouse Team Lead Our Warehouse Team Lead provides exceptional time management, organization and delegation. You are a great team player who ensures everything goes according to plan. As part of our Vanfax team, you are key to maintaining our seamless day‑to‑day operations and fostering amazing customer relationships.
What you will do
Manage and lead the team throughout day‑to‑day operations, distributing workload evenly and ensuring motivation and performance levels are maintained.
Serve as the role model of the team, well‑versed in all aspects of the job, lead by example, support and guide new employees through processes.
Fully understand operational targets, results KPIs and proactively influence the team to engage with these to consistently exceed expectations, deliver excellent internal customer service and achieve delivery targets.
Lead, train and mentor others.
Proactively contribute to promoting improvements in team performance.
Coordinate and deliver a broad range of operational administrative activities, adapting to changes in schedules and priorities.
Plan and allocate work schedules, setting priorities to ensure delivery targets are met.
Ensure compliance with all policies, standards and procedures, with particular emphasis on Health and Safety compliance, and report immediately all incidents to your supervisor.
Be recognized as a master of your trade, capable of carrying out all material handling and driving activities independently and without supervision, though this may comprise only a small proportion of the day.
What you will need
5‑7 years of experience leading warehouse teams, parts delivery, inventory and replenishment.
Strong leadership experience motivating teams, delegating tasks and fostering accountability.
Effective organization experience in task prioritization, inventory tracking and scheduling.
Clear verbal and written communication providing daily instructions, updates and feedback across teams and departments.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Hold a valid Class 5 or Class G license.

Compensation Pay range for a Team Lead is between $25.00 and $30.00 per hour. Pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience and location. Speedy Glass offers benefits upon hire and a pension plan (matchable) after three months.
