What will you do?
Manages and leads the team throughout the day‑to‑day operations, distributing the workload evenly and ensures that motivation and performance levels are maintained.
Is considered the role model of the team and is well versed with all aspects of the job, leads by example, supports and guides new employees through the processes.
Fully understands operational targets, result KPIs and proactively influences the team to engage with these to consistently exceed expectations to deliver excellent internal customer service and achieve delivery targets.
Leads, trains and mentors others.
Proactively contributes to promoting improvements in team performance.
Coordinates and delivers a broad range of operational administrative activities, adapting to changes in schedules and priorities.
Plans and allocates work schedules, setting priorities to ensure delivery targets are met.
Responsible for compliance with all policies, standards, and procedures with particular emphasis on Health and Safety compliance and reports immediately all incidents whether small or large to your supervisor.
Is recognised as a master of their trade, capable of carrying out all material handling and driving activities independently and without supervision, but this may form only a small proportion of their working day.
What will you need?
5-7 years of experience leading warehouse teams, parts delivery, inventory and replenishment experience.
Strong leadership experience in motivating teams, delegating tasks, and fostering accountability.
Effective organisational experience in task prioritisation, inventory tracking, and scheduling.
Clear verbal and written communication providing daily instructions, updates, and feedback across teams and departments.
Able to lift up to 50lbs.
You hold a valid Class 5 or Class G license (Class 7 Novice or G2 are not considered full driver’s licence).

Range of pay for a Team Lead is between $25.00 – $30.00 per hour.
Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the range of pay. Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Speedy Glass also offers benefits upon hire and a pension plan (with the option for matching) after 3 months.
