Join the Pros! The Vice President, Finance is a key member of the Canadian leadership team and a strategic business partner to the President and executive leadership. This role goes beyond transactional finance—it is focused on business finance, strategic insights, and driving operational excellence. You will lead financial strategy, enable data-driven decision-making, and ensure strong connectivity between finance and the business. Strategic Leadership
Provide oversight for Business Finance, Corporate Finance & Strategy, Pricing, Credit & Collections, Accounts Payable, and Data Analytics teams. Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with long-term business goals. Partner with senior leadership to influence strategic decisions and deliver measurable results. Business Partnership
Build strong relationships with Canadian leadership, functional leaders, and U.S. counterparts. Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights that drive profitability and operational efficiency. Financial Performance & Analytics
Improve forecasting accuracy and predictability to reduce surprises and enhance forward-looking insights. Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Drive advanced analytics and reporting capabilities for data-driven decision-making. Operational Excellence
Optimize pricing, credit risk management, and accounts payable processes. Assess and refine finance-business connectivity, including touchpoints, processes, and reporting. Raise the bar and thoughtfully challenge existing processes. Leadership & Talent Development
Inspire and enable finance leaders to develop their teams through strategic coaching. Review team structure and talent for efficiency and alignment. Foster a high-performance culture grounded in psychological safety, openness, and speed. Drive cultural alignment and team engagement. What you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA/CMA or MBA preferred 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including P&L responsibility and working capital management. Wholesale distribution industry experience strongly preferred; CPG/manufacturing will also be considered. Experience within complex, multi-site national organizations required. Strong business finance acumen and ability to partner with business leaders. Exceptional business insight and strategic thinking. High emotional intelligence and collaborative leadership style. Curious, adaptable, and able to challenge the status quo respectfully. Additional: Bilingual (English/French) is a plus; ability to travel (~10%).
