The Corporate Services division encompass the following departments: Corporate Finance, Treasury and Tax, FP&A, Regional Finance across 5 regional offices, Internal audit, Corporate Risk and Compliance, Corporate Administration and Procurement.
Reporting to the Assistant Director, Procurement Services you specialize in the digital landscape and will be managing complex software, cloud services, and specialized talent that keeps our association running.
You will act as a data driven procurement expert and partner to our global teams, helping them navigate the "Buy vs. Build" dilemma and ensuring our external partnerships—whether they are enterprise platforms or specialized contractors—deliver maximum value.
What your day would be like
- Software & SaaS Strategy: Lead high-stakes negotiations for enterprise software licenses, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), and niche SaaS platforms.
- Proactively source and manage indirect categories: covering supplier identification, RFx/competitive events including property leasing, negotiation, and contract award.
- Contingent Workforce Procurement: Source contractors and professional services. You will negotiate hourly rates, SOWs (Statements of Work), and ensure we are getting top-tier talent at competitive market rates.
- Vendor Performance & Governance: Partner with the Vendor Management team to track KPI performance, manage QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews), and ensure service providers meet their contractual obligations.
- Contracting proficiency: Mastery of key clauses (liability caps, indemnities, IP, confidentiality, termination/transition assistance, audit rights, benchmarking, MFN, price‑adjustment mechanisms).
- Stakeholder management: Credible partner to senior leaders; balances speed, risk, and value; manages conflicting priorities.
- Contract Optimization: Dive deep into "hidden" costs—like auto-renewals, storage overages, and seat underutilization—to optimize our OpEx spend.
- Risk Mitigation: Collaborate with Security and Legal to ensure all software and service providers comply with our data privacy, AI and compliance standards.
- Manage the full contract lifecycle: Oversee end‑to‑end contract management, including drafting, negotiation, execution, renewal, and termination. Ensure all agreements remain compliant, current, and aligned with organizational policies while proactively identifying contractual risks and opportunities for optimization.
- Analyze complex data sets to support decision‑making: Interpret and manipulate large, multidimensional data sets to generate meaningful insights that inform sourcing strategies, vendor performance evaluation, and commercial negotiations. Convert analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations that strengthen procurement outcomes. Experience with Power BI, SQL, or other data manipulation and visualization tools.
