About this opportunity:
On behalf of our client, we’re seeking an experienced Cisco Unified Communications Support Specialist to support and maintain enterprise Cisco voice infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco IP telephony deployments, user administration, device configuration, and troubleshooting support activities.
What You’ll Do:
• Manage and support Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) environments.
• Perform onsite deployment, phone moves, adds, and changes (MACD activities).
• Configure and maintain CUCM setup and device configurations.
• Add and manage users within the CUCM system.
• Connect, install, and relocate Cisco IP phones as required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve phone registration issues.
• Assign and configure devices in CUCM.
• Perform voicemail setup and provide end-user support.
• Coordinate with internal teams and business users to ensure smooth communication operations.
• Provide technical troubleshooting and support for Cisco voice infrastructure issues.
• Maintain documentation related to deployments, configurations, and support activities.
What You Bring:
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM).
• Experience with onsite deployment and phone move/add/change (MACD) activities.
• Strong understanding of Cisco IP phones and enterprise voice systems.
• Knowledge of phone registration and device assignment within CUCM.
• Experience with voicemail setup and troubleshooting.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within team environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Cisco certification such as CCNA Voice or CCNA Collaboration preferred.
• Experience supporting enterprise-level voice environments.
• Familiarity with Cisco Unity Connection is considered an asset.
• Experience working within Agile or distributed support environments is a plus.
