Job Requisition #: 034253 Finished Goods Handler (Open) Job Description: Key Responsibilities * Load/Unload and operate stretch wrapper (as required), ensuring that all products are clearly and correctly marked before storing in the warehouse. * Ensure that all products are clearly and correctly marked in the warehouse. * Stack products neatly, monitor stacks for stability and fix when necessary. * Record keeping of all goods received into warehouse. * Inspect received pallets, place damaged pallets outside storage area and keep a steady supply of pallets on the floor. * Ensures supplies are at workstation on time, and in full. * Maintains equipment in good working order, i.e., stretch wrappers, pallet jacks, tape machines, forklifts. * Pick orders and place on shipping dock (as required). * Work with boxmakers to locate & retrieve all corrugate materials as required for the production floor. * Perform cross functional activity as a box maker and machine tender whenever need arise. * All aisles must be kept clear and clean at all times. * Must comply with the Zero Harm Protocol and report all safety concerns to the Production Lead/ Supervisor. * Participation required in CBSQ and 5S. * Carefully Empty garbage and corrugate, bins before end of shift. * All other duties/ tasks/ projects as assigned by the Production Lead/ Supervisor. Education and Experience * Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent) and up to 2 years of relevant experience. * Previous experience in warehousing at a manufacturing company. * Valid LP Lift Truck Certification – Greif Forklift certification will be provided. Knowledge and Skills * Willingness to follow directions and work well in a team. * Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machineries. * Fundamental understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment. Compensation Range: The pay range for this position is $16.36 - $27.87. Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between $17.00 to $17.00. Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. If the competitive wage is equal in both fields, the starting rate is the same for all applicants that apply for this role. The starting rate is not representative of future compensation increases. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
