As we continue scaling across North America, we’re looking for an experienced alliance leader to help shape the next phase of our AWS partnership journey. The Opportunity This is not a traditional partner management role. As VeUP’s first and most senior alliance hire, the Director of Alliances will own and shape our AWS partnership strategy across North America, driving co-sell pipeline, competency growth, partner ecosystem expansion, and our progression toward AWS Premier Tier status. You’ll operate as the connective tissue between AWS and VeUP’s commercial engine, working closely with Sales and Marketing leadership to turn alliance activity into measurable revenue outcomes. We’re looking for someone who already knows how the AWS partner ecosystem works — someone with strong relationships, commercial instinct, and the ability to create momentum inside complex partner environments. What You’ll Own AWS Partnership Strategy - Lead VeUP’s AWS partnership roadmap and tier advancement strategy - Build and maintain senior relationships across AWS Partner, ISV, Marketplace, and field organizations - Represent VeUP in executive briefings, QBRs, and strategic planning discussions - Stay ahead of AWS program updates, incentives, and ecosystem shifts Competency & Program Management - Own AWS competency roadmap execution and submissions - Coordinate technical evidence, customer references, and audit processes - Ensure ongoing APN compliance and competency renewals Co-Sell & Partner Pipeline - Lead VeUP’s ACE and co-sell engagement strategy - Drive partner-sourced pipeline creation and progression - Work closely with Sales teams to convert alliance opportunities into revenue - Report on pipeline performance, conversion, and partner impact Ecosystem Growth - Identify and recruit high-potential SaaS, ISV, and SUP partners - Expand VeUP’s presence across the North American AWS ecosystem - Leverage your network to unlock strategic introductions and opportunities Funding & Incentives - Maximize AWS funding programs including MAP, MDF, and POC credits - Manage funding applications and strategic utilization - Educate internal teams on available AWS funding levers Market Visibility & Events - Own VeUP’s presence at AWS re:Invent, Summits, and partner events - Collaborate with Marketing on alliance-led GTM initiatives - Position VeUP as a trusted AWS ecosystem specialist through thought leadership and community engagement What Success Looks Like Within your first 90 days, you will: - Build and activate a strategic AWS relationship map - Drive new ACE opportunities into active co-sell motion - Establish a clear competency and tier advancement roadmap - Generate measurable partner-sourced pipeline - Increase VeUP’s visibility and credibility within the AWS ecosystem What We’re Looking For Experience - 5+ years in AWS partnerships, alliances, ISV, PDM, or ecosystem leadership roles - OR equivalent experience within a leading AWS Partner organization - Proven track record driving co-sell pipeline and partner-led revenue - Experience with AWS competencies, APN programs, and tier advancement - Familiarity with AWS Marketplace and partner funding programs Relationships & Commercial Ability - Existing relationships within AWS Partner and ISV organizations - Strong commercial mindset with a focus on pipeline and revenue outcomes - Comfortable engaging executive stakeholders internally and externally Operating Style You’ll thrive here if you are: - Highly self-directed and entrepreneurial - Strategic but hands-on - Comfortable moving quickly in an evolving environment - Focused on outcomes over activity - Collaborative, low-ego, and commercially driven Compensation & Benefits - Competitive OTE package - Performance-based incentives tied to pipeline and alliance outcomes - Revenue-based commission opportunities - Quarterly KPI bonus structure - Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits - Significant opportunity for growth and influence as VeUP scales Location & Travel - Remote role based in North America - Regular travel required for AWS events, partner meetings, and internal gatherings - Estimated travel: 25–35% Why Join VeUP?
