Job descriptionPROJECT MANAGER Reports To: Principal, General Manager Employment Type: Full-time, Mid-Senior level Hybrid Work Model (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead the design vision while overseeing the successful planning and delivery of projects for our Calgary Studio. This hybrid role combines high-level creative leadership with strong project oversight across all phases—from concept to implementation. You will work closely with partners, principals, designers, and clients across a range of built environment projects including signage, wayfinding, and experiential graphic design (EGD). Responsibilities - Provide overall project support and for multiple, concurrent, and complex design/construction projects from schematic design to post construction phases. - Assess and ensure schematic design, design development packages, technical drawings, reports, and contract documentation are complete, submitted to the clients on time, and comply with the requirements of the project. - Manage budget, forecast expenditures and other costs. - Maintain open communication with PM team regarding project status, health, reviews, and changes, and aid the General Manager(GM) when needed. - Develop workback schedules and communicate with internal and external stakeholders. - Assess compliance and successful completion of projects in accordance with applicable legislation, regulations, procedures, guidelines, and accepted construction standards. - Coordinate technical advice on design and contract administration issues, construction methods/issues and standards. - Support design teams prioritize deliverables and achieving milestone dates - Contract administration principles/practices applicable to EGD design/construction - Review, comment on or author new initiatives, specifications, alternative project delivery models and associated documentation Qualifications - Minimum of 5 years experience as a Project Manager - Experience in wayfinding and branded environments, exhibit design, retail design would be considered an asset. - Portfolio of successful projects completed in the past 4 years; we are looking for sector experience. - Experience in construction projects a plus (phases of construction) - Proficiency on a Mac is beneficial, as Entro operates in a Mac environment and utilizes the - Google Suite of products. - Excellent oral and written communication skills to prepare reports, briefing notes and presentations, and to liaise with clients, partners/collaborators, and contractors. - Interpersonal and influencing skills to discuss and resolve issues and encourage good working relationships and performance to deliverables. - Negotiation skills to obtain agreement on incorporating contract changes that may have impacts on schedules, deliverables, and budget. - Ability to develop alternative solutions to complex issues, be resourceful and adaptable.
