The Junior Accountant reports directly to the Controller.

Key Performance Indicators / Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Investigate and assist in resolving account variances.
- Completes bank reconciliations for multiple entities.
- Assist in the preparation and support of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including working papers and supporting schedules.
- Prepares various accrual tasks in order to record monthly entries and reversing entries and is able to present information which explains the entries.
- Assist in audit processes by pulling backups for auditor requested items.
- Maintain and update process documentation to support consistency and knowledge sharing.
- Prepare ad hoc and recurring reports to support the finance team.
- Support the senior finance team building reports that will be used by management as directed.
- Prepare documentation, responses, and supporting materials for internal requests across finance, other departments and shareholders.
- Ad hoc duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- At minimum, an accounting diploma.
- Working towards CPA designation.
- Excellent attention to detail and documentary skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in an ever-changing environment.
- Work well in a team environment and within a team.
- Legally eligible to travel internationally when required.
- Ability to work with industry software (Navision) and previous Accounting or ERP software. Strong excel skills required.
- Shows integrity, ingenuity, and assertiveness in the performance of tasks.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups).
- Fluency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is required.
- Aviation industry knowledge is an asset.
Experience
- Minimum 1 years of accounting experience.
- Experience with large ERP platform preferred.
