Production Supervisor – Sewing Department
Vaughan, ON Day Shift-6:00am – 2:30PM/3:30PM

We are currently seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead our Sewing Department at our Vaughan facility. This is an exciting opportunity to join a stable and growing company that values teamwork, continuous improvement, and employee development.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Lead and support a team of approximately 30 employees in the Sewing Department
• Review production schedules and assign daily responsibilities
• Conduct daily team meetings and communicate production goals
• Monitor productivity, quality, safety, scrap, and KPI performance
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
• Coach, mentor, and develop employees to build team performance and bench strength
• Support GMP, SQDC, and Lean Manufacturing initiatives
• Collaborate with management and production teams to ensure operational success
• Act as the key communication link between employees and management
What We’re Looking For:
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience within a similar manufacturing environment (bedding, upholstery, sewing, textile, or related industries)
• Hands-on leadership style with strong team-player mentality
• Experience working in a unionized environment is considered a strong asset
• Knowledge of collective bargaining agreements (CBA)
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to coach and develop employees while driving production targets
Requirements:
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
• Local candidates only
• Valid passport required
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
