Role Summary
PTW is seeking a Marketing and Communications Specialist to join our team in Calgary. This role supports the execution of internal and external marketing and communications strategies that engage employees, clients, and stakeholders. The successful candidate will develop content, support branding initiatives, and help strengthen PTW's overall communications presence across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities
• Support execution of internal and external communication strategies, including crisis communications support when required
• Collaborate with business units and branch network to develop engaging, audience-focused content
• Create and update marketing materials such as brochures, sales sheets, presentations, case studies, and internal communications
• Support employer branding and employee engagement initiatives
• Assist with marketing campaigns that strengthen brand awareness and market presence
• Maintain consistent messaging and brand standards across all communication channels
• Support media relations and external communications activities
• Monitor and support social media channels and digital engagement
• Maintain and update website content and internal communication platforms
• Manage content calendars and coordinate scheduling across platforms
• Support employee, client, and community events within timelines and budgets
• Collaborate with Operations, HR, and Leadership on communication initiatives
Experience Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field
• Post-secondary education in communications, marketing, public relations, or related discipline
• Strong writing, editing, copyediting, and proofreading skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across teams
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva is an asset
• Experience with SharePoint, website management, and social media planning is an asset
• Experience in industrial, energy, construction, or technical environments is considered an asset
Additional Requirements
• Based in downtown Calgary, AB
• Occasional travel to Rocky View office required (not accessible by public transit)
• Must be authorized to work in Canada
