Adecco est actuellement à la recherche d'un(e) Spécialiste en publications techniques pour une opportunité contractuelle de 3 ans à temps plein à Gatineau. Ce rôle est idéal pour un(e) professionnel(le) bilingue, rigoureux(se) et spécialisé(e) en rédaction technique, possédant une solide expérience dans la documentation A&E. La personne retenue sera responsable d'analyser des contenus techniques complexes, d'assurer l'exactitude des traductions et de produire des publications officielles de haute qualité dans un environnement réglementé. Le poste débute en mode hybride, avec une transition vers un travail 100 % en présentiel.

Responsabilités
  • Analyser des documents écrits afin de résumer et de générer du contenu technique pour des publications officielles liées aux munitions et explosifs (A&E), incluant les spécifications techniques, manuels, guides d'utilisation et dessins techniques
  • Modifier, valider et vérifier les traductions de documents techniques A&E en anglais et en français
  • Compiler et mettre à jour la documentation technique incluant les listes de données d'équipement, les spécifications et les dessins, tout en assurant l'exactitude et la conformité aux normes établies
  • Recueillir et analyser l'information technique en collaborant avec les autorités techniques et l'industrie lorsque requis
  • Effectuer des recherches et produire du contenu technique clair, précis et concis
  • S'assurer que la documentation technique A&E est complète, exacte et conforme aux normes approuvées
  • Rédiger des manuels techniques, spécifications et autres documents selon les lignes directrices du gouvernement du Canada
  • Réviser les documents techniques, dessins et données associées afin d'assurer leur conformité aux normes établies
  • Utiliser des outils de traitement de texte, tableurs, publication assistée par ordinateur et logiciels graphiques pour produire des documents prêts à la publication
  • Préparer et soumettre les livrables techniques requis, incluant les CFTO A&E et autres publications officielles
Qualifications
  • Être légalement autorisé à travailler et à résider au Canada.
  • Maîtrise obligatoire du français et de l'anglais (oral et écrit)
  • Détenir une cote de sécurité secrète valide
  • Minimum de 24 mois d'expérience au cours des 120 derniers mois dans la préparation ou la mise à jour de documents techniques liés aux munitions et explosifs (A&E)
  • Minimum de 24 mois d'expérience dans la révision, modification ou validation de traductions techniques A&E entre l'anglais et le français
  • Capacité à démontrer clairement une expérience en traduction technique bilingue (anglais/français)
  • Minimum de 24 mois d'expérience dans la production de documentation technique A&E
  • Détenir une ou plusieurs des qualifications suivantes : Officier technique des munitions (ATO) (AEXN), Ingénieur en munitions (AEXO), ou Qualification de niveau 6 (QL6) Technicien en munitions ou cycle de vie des munitions
  • Excellente rigueur et grande attention aux détails dans un environnement technique et réglementé
  • Expérience dans un environnement gouvernemental ou de défense (atout)

Adecco is currently hiring a Senior Technical Writer for a full-time 3-year contract opportunity in Gatineau. This role is ideal for a highly detail-oriented bilingual technical writer with strong experience in A&E documentation who enjoys analyzing complex technical materials, ensuring translation accuracy, and producing high-quality official publications in a regulated environment. In this position, you will be responsible for developing, reviewing, and validating technical A&E documentation in both English and French while ensuring compliance with Government of Canada and departmental standards. This role is initially hybrid, with a transition to 100% onsite work expected.
  • Salary: $75,000 to $125,000 annually
  • Location: Gatineau, QC (Hybrid initially, 100% onsite expected)
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Employment Type: Full-time | 3-year contract

Responsibilities
  • Analyze written materials to summarize and generate technical content for official Ammunition & Explosives (A&E) publications including technical specifications, manuals, user guides, and drawings
  • Modify, validate, and verify translated A&E technical documentation in both English and French
  • Compile and update technical documentation including specifications, equipment data lists, system documentation, and drawings while ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards
  • Gather and analyze technical information by interacting with technical authorities and industry stakeholders as required
  • Research existing materials and generate clear, accurate, and concise technical content
  • Ensure technical A&E documentation is complete, accurate, and aligned with approved standards
  • Prepare technical manuals, specifications, and supporting documentation following Government of Canada publishing guidelines
  • Review A&E documents, drawings, and associated data to ensure compliance with established standards
  • Use word processing, spreadsheet, desktop publishing, and graphic software tools to produce final and camera-ready documents
  • Prepare and submit required technical deliverables including A&E CFTOs and other official publications
Qualifications
  • Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
  • Must be fully bilingual in English and French (spoken, written, and reading)
  • Must hold a valid Secret level security clearance
  • Minimum 24 months of experience within the last 120 months preparing or updating Ammunition & Explosives (A&E) technical documentation
  • Minimum 24 months of experience reviewing, modifying, or validating English and French translations of A&E technical documentation
  • Must be able to clearly demonstrate experience working with technical translations between English and French
  • Minimum 24 months of experience working specifically with A&E technical orders or related documentation
  • Must hold one or more of the following qualifications: Ammunition Technical Officer (ATO) (AEXN), Ammo Engineer (AEXO), or Qualification Level (QL) 6 Ammunition Technician / Ammunition Life Cycle certification
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with highly technical regulated documentation
  • Experience working within structured government or defence environments is an asset
