CESD Summer New Curriculum Development (Internal Applications Only)

Internal Applicants OnlyChinook’s Edge School Division invites teachers and leaders to apply for New Curriculum Development positions in Social Studies: Grades 7-9 and Mathematics: Grades 7-9.The successful applicants will be working in subject levels teams to develop curriculum supporting documents and/or long range plans. Successful candidates will be required to facilitate grade-level teams on division-wide professional learning and development (PLAD) days. This work will be used to support all CESD classroom teachers implementing new curriculum during the 2026-2027 school year. This position will be compensated at 1/200th of their annual salary per summer day (July 2-3, 2026). Summer Institute will run July 2-3, 2026 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Division Office in Innisfail, and facilitated by Margo Nygard, Marie-Astrid Detharet, and Sandi Berg. Successful candidates will possess a combination of the following:Current experience and confidence in the selected grade and subject area.Ability and a desire to work collaboratively in teacher teams.Willingness to facilitate grade-level teams on PLAD days.
